Bienvenue, I'm Guisselle a Parisienne vagabond with a well rooted Colombian & New York soul that loves the transcultural amalgam my parents nurtured my life with. I photography and this mashup is a life & style journal through my amateur pen and lens. Bisous!

Beware... on occasion I may drop a little riff-raff intellect but bounce right back to articulate & academic #urbanchic-A
Paz !

modern classic stylish fille

dimitri from paris- une very stylish fille

Had the chicest dream the other night.
I hosted a cocktail party in the middle of the desert in a Bauhaus design home in Palm Springs circa 1950's. I was mingling with my favorite rat pack designers of that time, noooo not Dior, Chanel, Balmain and noooo not the Vegas rat pack either.

I dreamt with my favorite greats of Modern Classic architecture and design. It was Eames job to prepare the dirty martinis and screw drivers. George Nelson talked about how he was inspired to create a sofa while eating marshmallows as Van Der Rohe, Grey, Noguchi, Saarinen and I listened on. I tried to get Panton (he looked like Ernest Hemmingway in the dream) to dance the Rumba and the Cha Cha Cha with me but for some odd reason my brain decided to kick out Le Corbusier and Panton from the party for starting a brawl about old school vs. new school.
So yesterday it inspired me to dress on beat for The Party I never got an invitation for.
One, two, cha cha cha... three, four do the rumba...
How do I look ?
Now be a good boy and fetch me a dirty martini ...

silk circle skirt , leather gloves(I snipped the finger tips off) and shirt: vintage from Chine Machine

thank you, but the credit belongs to that backdrop. It's one of my favorite spots in Paris.

'but the credit belongs to that backdrop' - true, but it's knowing WHAT to do with that backdrop - which you did ... hence the greatness of these photos ... the one with the skirt lifting up and the rest that follow could be from an editorial ... love the whole feel/mood of the photos!
